[*]Does anyone actually own this release? The one called 100% that consists of mailbox recordings.

Many years back I did actually own the 100% cd and it's just as strange as it sounds. Just a bunch of dating service entries. Ended up giving it to a buddy to use in his DJ sets.

  • Anyone here manage to acquire all of the Universal Indicator releases?

"

I'd love to know answers to the first 2 on that list :P

I have the digitals of that 100% thing, its just loads of different people who called into some dating agency thing, quite amusing. Great sample material plundering possibilities :P

As for the Universal Indicator series, they're usually quite hard to track down.

Green, Yellow, Red, Blue and Ultraviolet (which was apparently just Mike Dred solo).

Also, answers to PP Roy would also be interesting :)

Effect Rainbow by Kiyoshi Izumi is the best record put out by Rephlex. Next is Astrobotnia, Yee-King and Cylobian Sunset.

Oh yeah and Vulva.

'Humanoid: Sessions 84-88' is an awesome archive of earlier-than-early acid Techno by FSOL frontman Brian Dougans. Rephlex put it out in 2003...

Leo Anibaldi's Rephlex album 'Void' is a very underrated dark techno classic...

And Lory D's compilation of rare tracks 'Sounds Never Seen' on Rephlex is also essential...

Nice spot, forgot about this album. If it's not too obvious, the Snowman mix of Stakker Humanoid is mindblowing.

Definitely, his most recent stuffs are fantastic. When it comes to Astrobotnia, I think Part 3 is my favorite tho.

This thread turned out great! Plenty of individual comments I could reply to, but overall I've been listening or re-discovering a lot of Rephlex releases lately thanks to all the recommendations.
