The insanely prolific Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Head of David, Napalm Death, Techno Animal, Jesu, Greymachine, Palesketcher,..) raises his Techno Animal moniker JK Flesh from the dead for its debut full-length outing, taking his more extreme sonic tendencies and contextualising them within the post-dubstep/industrial canon pushed by 3by3.

Check out the impressively heavyweight "Idle Hands" from the forthcoming album, 'Posthuman' by JK Flesh.

HELL YES I've been awaiting this since he mentioned it in a FACT interview in 2010, and enjoyed the Cloaks remix a lot. "Extreme sonic tendencies" indeed, this sounds heavy as I hoped it would. Curious about the vocals, honestly didn't think about that being part of the project, but they fit well.

This was a pretty cool release. I liked the way it mixed the industrial-style heaviness with a focus on rhythm and beats. Good, dark shit, Godflesh fans should appreciate.

Now there's another release from JK Flesh on the horizon:

In their most recent news letter, Hydra Head has announced that a split LP between JK Flesh and Prurient will be coming out on December 11th.

The split is entitled ‘Worship is the Cleansing of the Imagination’...
