i must be the only one who finds this uncomfortable to watch.

I think there is something awkward and maybe even wrong about it. It's not as if the event said Featuring 2Pac to sell anything... but it comes across as a distasteful gimmick, IMO.

With that said, the technology is fockin' awesome :)

I gotta wonder how this tech works.

It's an optical illusion that's been in use by the entertainment industry for quite a long time. Granted the Coachella performance is far more advanced than what you usually see, but the principle is pretty much there.

anyone tried this software yet?

Yes. it's quite fun. none of the good voices are made to sing in english, so they try to pronounce stuff with japanese syllables, and it sounds like engrish.

he's missing a 'H' on his forehead

lol

also yeah, this is really terrible. let me note here that if I die at a young age, I do not want anyone to make a holograph of me perform for any reason.

Guys, we should start a WATMM fund for one of these machines, then we could have our very own AFX/Squarepusher/ae/BoC concert exclusive for WATMMers only.

That impression of his voice in the beginning makes me cringe. Nothing shitter than other rappers exhausting his image to make themselves look better.
