Oh man, I never thought I would see Squarepusher in Toronto ever...this is so wicked. Going to Bangface Weekender 2012 this year as well! All my live music dreamz are coming true. :wub:

sweet, going to have to book a train ride to Chicago, I can't miss this. Been over a decade, allthough I doubt he'll be playing his bass this time.

Exactly. I probably experienced the same range of emotions as you as we simultaneously researched the same, lame-ass-skrillex-fest info.

Utter bullshit.

There really isn't even one other act I'd like to see on the line up, other than may be Little Dragon and MAYBE Bootsy Colins... but still, there's no way in hell I'd ever pay that much. I'd rather fly to Portland, NYC or Chicago (especially to see him at the Metro!!! That place is small and awesome!) and spend a comparable amount of $ for a much better experience.

 

Why :facepalm: ?

Fuck yes. Definitely going to drive up for the Chicago show. Never been to the Metro, glad to hear good stuff about it.

SF is near LA and he's there on the 2nd of August (assuming you live in Cali).

It's still an 8 hour drive... which means I'd have to get a hotel.

Its a pain, however you swing it.

My point is, he's playing 5 miles away and there is no way I'm going to see him here.

I wouldn't be able to take Thurs-Fri off to drive up and see him in SF.

The hardfest marketing makes me sad. I hope it gets him some new fans, but I doubt anyone going to see Skrillex will be convinced by anything not actually Skrillex.

 

Can't believe he couldn't headline and sell out the El Rey or something.

 

His show (not LA Hardfest) looks like so much fun. I'm bummed.
