"At the point where Plug’s “Drum’n'bass For Papa” intersects with oldschool rave jungle and freaked out jungle/d’n'b influenced IDM from the old masters is where the newest release from Bludclot Recordings dwells. “The Next Jung(list)” is a tongue & cheek affair from start to finish, it is also jam packed with undeniable retro-forward thinking jungle wickedness. Simultaneously laughing off and embracing jungle for jungle’s sake, he manages to throw some loose acid vibes and chin-stroking IDM in the blender with huge distorted kick drums and noise from more breakcore realms, then drizzlies the mixture over choice breakbeat workouts that make you wanna shuffle your feet as much as sit back and twist one up.
To fully appreciate the release, take a gander at this laugh of a write-up in relation to the release and its cover artwork."

Heya! Tomorrow like every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 19 to 20 (CEST) Massage Brain Cult at https://threadsradio.com/ will happen. This month guests are two sound shapers well known to MBC; Jessica Walrus and Eazykill . They have collaborated together a few times and also both released on the label. They made each a 30 min set for the day. Jessica does a really colourful mix, presenting mostly her own produced tracks with its particular lush rhythmics, melodic tones, atmospheres,.. also some perreo edit mix moments on it that all together are quite a thing.. and Ez does a really creative mix presenting a few of his favourite productions(imagine a few from who would be..) a mix on his particular way stretch unstretch dope style… that brings us to some really special moments.. tomorrow from 19 to 20 (CEST) on >>> https://threadsradio.com/
So since early 2019 I've been spending a lot of time gathering all my favorite bits from Vsnares catalog, eventually gathering them in this massive mix.
I tried to make it more eventful than a simple "deck to deck" mix, yet smooth and enjoyable for a casual listener. Hardcore fans might enjoy tracking down all the subtleties too.
No deck was used, all the sync & mix was done with Audacity and Calculator, a few effects were added sporadically. Almost every track has been edited at some point.
I tried a Mixcloud upload but this got instantly unavailable for USA listeners (really...), so I quickly did a Mixlr link :

Hope you enjoy.
PS: some might remember 4 years ago i applied the same principle on Autechre discography, still online (and ok for USA ;) : https://www.mixcloud.com/NYUHM/autechre-25-years-the-megamix/
