Besides the film actually looking rather gorgeous, this sets the tone wonderfully and, in something of a suprisingly welcome move, it doesn't give the entire movie away (though I expect later trailers will). Godzilla certainly looks better than in the Broderick version. But I'm still not excited and don't have the energy to care about this. It's another one of those films that I'll watch but not pay for.
