I enjoyed RE2. While it has a better "gameplay loop" than RE7, RE7 was scarier and the first 2-3 hours of RE7 to me were near perfect but RE2 is a better game overall if you count the second half of RE7 when the whole game is considered.

my nephew broke the switch that he got for his birthday. it wont charge. he tried a new power supply and that failed to work. wondering if any of you guys have experience sending  to nintendo repair centre? what's are the prices like? i guess it's better to send to nintendo official repairman, they'll have all the spare parts handy...

So plugging in the AC mains directly into the Switch won't charge it/power on?

How did he break it?

From what I read on the Nintendo Switch subreddit, people were quite happy with Nintendo's Customer Service. There's a chance it will be guaranteed and you won't have to pay for anything (hope so !)

He must have plugged the wrong charger into it and damaged the usb type c connector

Yeowch! Hope Nintendo doesn't deny a claim based on physical damage (if any) to the connector)

Crackdown 3. Decided to get the Xbox Gamepass 1 month for 2$ + 1 month free so I essentially paid 2 bucks for this.

It's. . . . well, it's Crackdown. This game is getting shredded and lauded in the media for essentially the same thing: one on hand, this game feels stuck in the late 90's in terms of game design, which makes it feel stale an uninspired - on the other hand, this game feels stuck in the late 90's, which means it's a lot of utterly mindless fun without the weight of modern, open world game conventions.

Far Cry: New Dawn.

It is basically Far Cry 5.5. But I'm enjoying it anyway so far. It's always fun shooting circular saw blades at a muthafucka or two.

And punkish bandits blasting Die Antwoord is a recurring theme, just like in Vaas's house in Far Cry 3.

I view games as an idle activity more than anything, like watching TV. It's a topic I rarely bring up IRL, and is a hobby that can be easily put on hold when higher priority matters crop up. But I'm not gonna knock anyone who's passionate about it.

When my flatmates comes home I quickly turn the Playstation off and they wonder why I'm looking so flustered - I tell them I've just been watching porn as it's less embarrassing ....

Yeah but there's going to be latency streaming over the internet. That's not good for an action game. Just do what I'm doing and buy a ps4 with resell value and binge bb.
