sounds pretty cool. but the pads sound a little bland to me. i don't know how to explain it but it just sounds like "generic dark pad". know what i mean? other than that this sounds great.

Very nice. Awesome bass stuff and percussion in general. The pad does indeed stand out as the most generic sound. Perhaps wash it up with some delay and/or reverb.

I agree with everything that has been said so far. I would also like to add that you should had some of kind of catchy melody to keep the listener listening, because I kinda stopped paying attention half way through. The beat is great, but a beat and a pad isn't enough to keep my ears listening :)

Aw, man! You just gotta listen closer to the melodies. =) They are there for sure, but a lead voice could wrap it up quite nicely.

You are all correct about that pad. I wish FM noodlings thrown through dark reverbs were not as generic. I'll just have to do some more noodles.

Thank you all for the listens.

The percussion/rhythmic work is incredible. The pad /melody is a bit wanna-bee. But maybe that only has to do with the fact, that this kind of sound / prententious atonal stuff is already a cliché these days. 20 years ago it would be different.

If only I were born in the late 70's yea?

I kind of understand what you mean with the melody, but would you care to elaborate a bit more? As an artist, you tend to want to keep the melodies you worked hard on. What needs to be different for it to be more resounding?
