Downloaded the Manchester 1999 set a while ago, and found that it's identical to the recording listed as the Warp 10th Anniversary Party from the same year. I also recall someone on one of the WATMM forums saying that track 5 from these recordings is actually 'Mcr Quarter' itself (although I don't own the Japanese version of 'Confield' so I can't compare the two). Anyone able to fill me in?

I have this live recording @ Manchester, 1999. I didn't spot it here among your lists. I wanted to ask if anyone knew the name of the 2nd and 3rd track from that session. They're fantabulous.

(If it helps, the 1st track is Bike, 4th is Rpeg, 5th is Mcr Quarter...)

 

 

Hi, was just listening to this recording and though I'd do a search on the web to see if any more info is/was required.

 

The audio from this gig was posted by me to some bootleg sharing site in early 1999 (i think). The gig was at the Band On The Wall in Manchester and was part of Graham Massey's Toolshed night. I think the night was in sometime in early 1999, but it may have been in late 1998, I definately remember it being cold! I just had a search for the flyer but didn't have any luck.

 

The mp3s were made from an audio cassette copy which I made from the minidisc that my friend recorded at the gig on his sony minidisc recorder with a stereo mic (i think). This means that a better copy of this gig does exist somewhere, but I don't know if it has ever been posted. I've since lost touch with the guy who recorded it, all I know is his name is Robin and he's from Belgium!

 

In terms of the tracklisting, some of you folk on here will have a better idea than me, but I know that track 2 is Gescom's remix/rework of Man Parrish's Boogie Down Bronx from MASK 500.

the tracks that wont play are most likely not in a format your media player supports, but if you tell me what tracks they are i can check the format tags

haven't been able to listen to them all in detail, but here's a quick rundown for those hesitant to start downloading everything. i've got mainly just Autechre mp3s for the moment haven't really gotten into the other formats or much of the Gescom stuff. 'quality' rating is based so far on clarity and amount of crowd noise, haven't really figured in what sets of each tour are most interesting to listen to regardless of sound quality. here goes, let me know if you think i'm way off on the 'ratings'...

I also want to note that i'd like to phase the m4a's out, so if anyone has mp3s of them (they were sourced from mp3s), i'd MUCH rather put them up. Keep in mind these files are going to be archived here 4EVAR!

 

ALSO i would like to point out that i have recieved NONE of the recent AE appearance on That Other Site™. I cannot download these torrents myself since my school campus does not allow bittorrent function.

i see now that you have keulen under another name, and the geneva/montreal shows, but where do you have the barcelona sonar show? also i'm pretty sure that you don't have those dj sets, there were two on each of those days ... i.e., there's a set available for download from 03.30 and from 04.07, and i already have those, but these are other radio shows that they did on those days, different lengths etc.

 

i'll start zipping the other stuff, though ...
