Joshua Eustis is still active, remixing last year and having an EP of remixes of "Birds" from Immolate Yourself released on Bpitch. I saw him play in late 2009 after Charles Cooper passed away. Not saying that IDM was necessarily inspired by these guys, its possible they were just coincidentally laying a lot of the groundwork people like Aphex, AE and Muziq would work on later on.
