B: no one better be frontin on Oran' Juice Jones. One of my all time favorite tracks.

Fuck yeah!

I wasn't cool enough to have heard this one in the 80's; former watmmer Idi Amin/Soothsayer played it for me years ago & I've loved it since. We used to buy records at a shop with a shitton of old 45s from jukeboxes, 50 cents each. They would have literally dozens of every crappy country hit, and a few gems hidden away. They were shelved about 4 feet deep on a table at least 20 feet long, in no discernible order. Idi went browsing hoping to score "The Rain" and actually found it!

If it tickles any of your particular fancies, I made a couple of all-vinyl 80's mashup mixes a few years ago, making liberal use/abuse of only the lushest pop of the period :emotawesomepm9: (tracklists are discreetly stashed away in spoilers). Enjoy:

these do not belong anywhere something called "80's pop cheese thread".

these are 80s classics.

hey there guy. i thought most of us in the world all had an unspoken mutual agreement/understanding that pretty much everything from the 80s is some type of cheese. thing is, there's both good cheeses and bad cheeses. some of these are some excellent cheese. i don't know about this one though-

i used to roller skate to it, so that was kinda radical at least.
