i was really excited when uncle will announced this record and i saw the number of tracks.

unfortunately, this is an entire record of tracks that are just like 'mamba muntu' literally, my least favorite track cut hands has done. at the same time, perhaps the current state of affairs in haiti wouldn't exactly have been an opportune time to release "regular" cut hands (?)

geography of hell takes another peek into the history books- this time examining the battle of verdun with a few drum samples from laurie johnson's history of war record. actually sounds pretty good to my ears

and for anyone that doesn't like their eardrums- merzbow's noisembyro has been reissued "including unreleased material from the same sessions"

I have a set on this quite noise leaning stream tonight, via instagram live and twitch from 9pm GMT.

Tune in and eat!

It will also act as a listening party for the new "STILL ILL" compilation being released by Vital Things to support the Wet'suwet'en nation and the fight to maintain sovereignty of their land.

I'm looking for any examples of noise music with overt use of gabber kicks, now obv there is stuff like making orange things but that feels like breakcore first and noise second imo.

This is something I have always thought should exist but I didn't find any proper examples of until this week..

This whole album is mad but I nipped this bit in particular

This track was what prompted me to go looking..

They have made a single album which I uploaded and features some more of the same sound

This is a milder example of the same idea.. also discovered off that compilation

edit: made a dedicated thread

new prurient! Creationist 6xCS and Son of Sam of Mice and Men 7" single available as a bundle, or special art edition including an exclusive alberich collaboration on C60.

https://prurient.bandcamp.com/album/creationist

Creationist might well be the darkest thing released under the Prurient moniker for a good long while. it is SERIOUSLY oppressive!

Just finished up our RPM challenge for the month of February and we made three videos for the project as well- here’s the extreme noise one!

The full album is here- which is also predominantly noise:

I released a free-to-download 3 track EP which channels my thoughts on the senseless invasion of Ukraine.

Not quite noise wall, but definitely dark noise....

i read a really good review of the album that summed it up pretty well. it was written by a woman who had gone to see a whitehouse show. the entire time, some guy was rubbing up against her and feeling her up. everyone else just stood around with their fingers in their ears completely ignoring what was happening. when the show was done, the guy just walked off like nothing happened. she thought of it as part of the show

curious if anyone else ever read this review? if i remember correctly, it used to be on the susan lawly guestbook
