inocunabla

at least that's how i pronounced it

lovely album, enjoy it and cherish and stuff

The origin of the word Incunable is the Latin incunabula for "swaddling clothes", used by extension for the infancy or early stages of something. It has been used for books which were printed before the year 1501 in Europe. As Incunabula was Autechre's first album, the name refers to the early stage of musical evolution they were in.
