Some were listed as higher than that last week. Once chancer had it up for £300 for a few days. I seriously hope that someone didn't actually pay that, what with the repress being announced.

seriously

i own about 4000 lps and thousands of 45's

this behavior sucks

just sayin'

What does it have to do with your 4000 lps?

And btw, BOC's Twoism and AFX SAW2 have been sold on Ebay & Discogs for way more money. And compared to Somerset Avenue Tracks, at least Twoism definitely wasn't worth it. Same for many other records. Somerset is a collector's item.

ok

have fun with that snappy happy!

i'm sure you'll get rich quick and inspire millions to follow suit

"What does it have to do with your 4000 lps?"

what it means is that I have been involved in vinyl culture for a minute and have found that people who flip and grip limited press editions right after they are released at a massive markup usually are seething whoring opportunistic cunts involved in the culture for all the wrong reasons…but not you of course……..

Pretty fast conclusion. I've been collecting vinyl for the last 18 years myself. It's not 4000 though but 1600 (I try to cut it down to the essentials). I'm just lucky to have 2 copies of the album. Otherwise I wouldn't sell it.

Lucky to have two copies? Did you buy both of them, or just happen to come across the second one?

If it's the first; That sucks donkey balls. I'm sure someone who actually cares about the music would've liked that record.

If it's the second; Good for you. Easy money!

So anything you think is better than Twoism must sell for £200+ ??? While I don't like paying loads for a record, at least SAW II and Twoism are old and well established releases and there is at least an argument for inflated prices.

I try not to get angry on the internet because it's pointless for the most part, but you bought 2 copies with intent to profit off it. Total douchebaggery. Don't pretend it was some kind of happy accident, at least be honest.

Massive flaws in your argument here. Mike P thought £22 was a decent price but I guess yours is better/more informed.

Douche.

I had bought a 2nd copy too. But I gave it away as a gift.

But this is a great compilation aside from any dollar value. I really put it up there as one of his best. I'm a sucker for his older music though. =P

Surprised that this is being purchased just to be capitalized off of.

To be completely honest, it was a happy accident.

I actually hadn't got the 2nd copy for selling it again. But as it happened it became a spare copy.

Nonetheless, it's pretty interesting that people get really furious here.

Btw, has any of you an ipad or iphone?
