Was assigned my highest paying delivery order the other night from... 7-Eleven?  Yep, they do delivery now.  $32.50 for me, chunk of which was a $25 dollar tip.  Customer ordered 5 bags of Doritos, 2 Bite Brownies, and assorted candies.  Good order to end an otherwise shitty night on.  Also, I never realized the 11 in 7-Eleven was spelled out until I reviewed my delivery history.  How about that.

Nice!

Yeah IIRC the "eleven" in 7-eleven was because the store was initially open 7 days a week, 11hrs per day? I always thought it was 7-11 as well lol....

Most of the ones I've encountered have been open 24 hours, so I don't know.  Perhaps a franchise update is n order.  Twenty-Four-7?

Also, I should clarify there were 5 bags which were filled with multiple bags of Doritos/brownies/candy, not 5 bags of Doritos, and then those other things.

Also, just occured to me how weak a chain convenience store that was only open 11 hours a day would be.  Why would they draw attention to that?

The chain has been around almost 100 years now! I believe even the concept of a "convenience" store (7-eleven being the first) was based on being able to get toiletries and small grocery items on days (often weekends and almost always Sundays) and hours (evenings) that the grocers and supermarkets of the time were closed. Things were different back then I guess! 7-eleven hours were probably very convenient back then for last minute purchases when bigger stores were closed. But with mass urbanization & everyone working around the clock they needed to change to 24hrs. I checked the wiki it looks like the name was based on 7 days per week, and hours from 7AM-11PM - so not exactly what I said before..

also lol yeah I thought you meant 5 bags of doritos and some candy and brownies. I thought you got like a 200% tip! Still nice haul.

Yesterday the nurse instead of saying seven referring to the movie seven, she said seven eleven... Like oh that's the movie seven eleven right? But she noticed she was wrong right after and she corrected herself... Not remotely funny but related... Makes me feel more of a watmmer...

Se7en should have a sequel called E11e7en where the killer targets 7-eleven customer stereotypes using the products they are most likely to buy.  So customer A gets drowned in a tub filled with slurpee, customer B asphixiates from getting twinkies shoved down his throat, customer C gets scalded to death with hot coffee, customer D faces an endless barrage of cigarette burns, and so on, and so on.  The killer is obviously a disgruntled employee who has been working there since high school and is now in his mid-50's.

I made a completely improvised stir-fry for lunch today that didn't turn out half bad. It all started out as an effort to use up leftover cooked rice (which is the main purpose of fried rice in East Asia), but ended up chopping up an onion, three garlic cloves, and marinated Spam and sauteed it. Then I decided to chop up some white cheddar Baby Bell cheese snax and threw those in. Then poured in soy sauce and added ground ginger, and dumped in some frozen veggies. Now I gots leftovers n shit for work this week.

EDIT: Shit, I forgot to mention one important ingredient.................................................peanut butter.

Every 2 years I have to do a medical for my job... In Portugal it costs me 600usd... Onboard it cost 100... Just saved 500usd

Guess that sort of evens out the cost from those packages that dingus from that restaurant is holding hostage. Any closure on that yet?
