Recently I discovered this vid where the guy shows how he turned a field recording into pad using Ableton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=3pn_iTsolMM Im very interested in this type of thing, are you guys aware of similar or other techniques to create ambient pads or other interesting textures using Ableton or any other piece of software?
