Always loved this mix of African hip-hop, he had one I played more but I can't find a streaming link of it.

At the expense of sounding like some naive granola munching white guilt ridden hippie, popular music directly from Africa has been either overlooked, underdeveloped, or flat-out oppressed, but African musical traditions have literally birthed and/or heavily influenced just about every form of Western popular music in existence.

As for African music, Die Antwoord is almost always the first thing that comes to mind.

this is a sad thread, but maye it's just ignorance taking over, maybe...

it was just that was taking my fancy whilst i was very drunk, i don't see why it's sad. Anymore so than posting 'good' or 'classic' african music as a correction is, anyway. ;-p .. I've heard and absorbed the old stuff years ago, i wanted to know what was going on now.
