Just a moment ago, as I was turning a corner, Bike by ae came on thru the shuffle. Simultaneously a biker person on a bike appeared in the middle of the road!

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events as meaningfully related, whereas they are unlikely to be causally related. The subject sees it as a meaningful coincidence, although the events need not be exactly simultaneous in time. The concept of synchronicity was first described by Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychologist, in the 1920s.[1]

The concept does not question, or compete with, the notion of causality. Instead, it maintains that just as events may be connected by a causal line, they may also be connected by meaning. A grouping of events by meaning need not have an explanation in terms of cause and effect.

I get this - it's kinda spooky sometimes.

Like making a phone call at work and the person answers saying "oh its you, I was just going to call you"

I get deja vu quite often with snippets of conversation and social situations reminding me of dreams i've had.

Unless the things people say / do are quite predictable and it just feels like something I might have dreamt once.

i listen to the magic flute on repeat for weeks at a time. whats weird is if i put down my earbuds and come back to them later, the song thats playing in my head is the same song playing when i put the earbuds back in.

i hate when this happens cause it creeps me out so much and it happens all the time to me. ill be thinking "hey i gotta call this guy" and then as i reach for the phone it rings and turns out to be the person i was gonna call.

when I was little I was playing backgammon with my dad and for a bunch of turns in a row i managed to roll double 5's and after it started getting really really spooky my father looked at me in the eyes and says "do you know what that means?" probably feeling me out to see if my mom had been instilling me with her superstitions and I ask what it means and he says "nothing, it means nothing"

huh i don't know.. little things like that never stopped happening, week after week and year after year

there is a mediocre quality to all my synchronicity. I think there's something to it but nothing to indicate that its meaningful or spiritual in any way

Almost every time I look at the clock for lunch, it reads 12:34. Not 12:35 or 12:33...

Has been going on for a very long time.

You need to change the battery.

one time a few years ago, about 2-3, i was having a dream where, strangely, an old friend of mine who's house i rode my bike to all the time after school growing up (me and this dude were friends since like kindergarten and still kind of are, so like 25yrs now), his dad appeared in the dream. i hadn't had much contact, i mean i probably saw him a few times in the past years leading up to that. in the dream i was in a parking lot somewhere and he showed up trying to tell me something, and then he was taking me somewhere, into and down what seemed like an apartment building hallway to a door at the end, and i've never, i don't know if there is an apartment complex like that in that area. so i think he stopped in front of the door and it was like he was going to show me something in there, i don't remember if we went through it, but then i was woke up by a phone call from my old friend's wife who was crying and told me that the friend's dad just died that morning. i was actually woken from that dream to get that news.

edit- and his dad wasn't super old, i think approaching 50, and i dont think anyone knew he had any kind of heart issue. his heart just stopped or something. i dont know if it was technically an attack. but it turned out he had this issue all along and it was just never spotted and he just went like that. but in other words there was no signs or word of him being in ill health that triggered the dream.

ahaha that guys fuckin amazing

btw regardless of that story i just said

i think probably there is no such thing as meaning in some grand sense where things happen somehow, for some reason

probably nothing has any meaning, outside of some meaning it may have to a person

i think its all just a bunch of random bs

you just notice the times where things 'synch' up because they stand out. statistically things like that are bound to happen multiple times across your life. you dont remember all the other times where it didn't happen which far outnumber the times where it did

just think of all the things that could happen rather than the synch, and it gets pretty far out cosmic. Playing with probability can show you just how rare something like this can be, and i am a big fan of chaos theory that dictates that the unexpected is just as likely to happen.

I mean, if you said to me a year ago that we would now have new boc, autechre and opn was signed to warp, i would have said yeah right!

If you'd be a control freak, you could drive yourself mad with the idea how almost everything seems so out of synch!

One weird thing like that happened to me some years ago when I was trying to spook my cat by making a strange zombie-/mummy-like walk towards him for some reason (precisely like the "Imp"-enemies from Doom 3) only to run into my cousin coming around the corner from out the kitchen doing the exact same thing! The cat was the only one involved who could see both of us simultaneously from the start. And he didn't care.

damn it's insane just how much hotter she looks than the hotness of her actual sex acts on film. Probably one of the biggest disconnects in an adult performer I've seen in recent memory. I so badly want her porn to be not boring it hurts
