New Variant output up on the Echospace [Studio] bandcamp.  Does anyone dare buy the physicals? ?

Hey guys, $90. Digital vinyl.
It's a steal.
Made it in 5 minutes.
Only 5 digital prints.

And don't you dare download it without paying.

Purchases from the echospace[studio] bandcamp store appear to have been blocked, same as happened at the echospace[detroit] store previously.  Now they’ve opened a third, echospace[soundscapes], store?  Unbelievable.

****NOTE*****
If you care as much as we do about the time, money and hard work invested into this library PLEASE extend us the courtesy as to NOT pirate this across the web. I'm sure most people think it's an innocent offense but piracy is a crime and one in which is destroying the industry and the possibility to release music and/or sonic experiments of this type. Thank you!

PIRACY is a CRIME! it's DESTROYING the INDUSTRY!

Would purchase music from them if their digital content list prices weren't so absurd.

Ended up being driven to other means of acquiring the music.

Did this to themselves.

…and now a ‘cv313’ bandcamp store, for which he’s giving away hundreds of yum codes.  Problem is none of the codes actually work!  Does this guy have no shame?

None of the codes in the email newsletter worked but I randomly plugged one of these and it was valid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And there's also a 'variantsonics' bandcamp store.  They're popping up quicker than they can be shutdown LOL

Source of the sites being shut down previously? I've always though echospace bandcamp was confusing. There's multiple versions of stuff like these releases that must make Discogs HATE them (it also triggers my cataloging OCD):

So, lengthy email update yesterday from Echospace addressing the issues the label has faced, delayed orders and future direction...

Quote

We truly hope this message finds you all in good health and positive spirit! We've attached a little gift to this e-mail, one that's kept our now 8 month old baby Irie sleeping in a calm and peaceful state, and we sincerely hope you find some calm here, too. It's been a turbulent few years for everyone with an unprecedented pandemic and through all of the uncertainty, we have been blessed with 2 beautiful baby boys (one is a toddler now) whom have kept us beyond busy, overwhelmed to say the very least. Quite frankly, just like with the label, we have been stretched thin and thus, had no choice but to dock our ship. We now set sail once again for new horizons and we will work tirelessly to voyage onwards and upwards. Because at the end of the day, we are determined to keep going and forever keeping you all close to us in our hearts, we are immensely grateful for the journey. For all of you, we will work tirelessly to ensure you have your orders and confidence again. We believe that accessibility is extremely important, and with the official launch of the echospace website, we offer a new platform to make this goal more attainable. We invite you to engage and share in your experiences with us. Thank you to all who have been present and supportive since the very beginning, we see you all and hope to meet you one day.

Day to day operations with the label will resume and we're going to be working diligently to get out all back-orders from COVID shut downs / home schooling our teens and prior. I know many of you are still waiting on the midnight blue wax editions which we're happy to report will be landing end of summer via our distributor (www.rubadub.co.uk), there's a world of confusion as to why this has all taken so long to materialize. Just to clear the air, the primary investor in the label and where I spent 10 years of my life working sadly passed away of cancer, their closure left us in a very difficult position with projects as they helped quite a bit keeping the label alive after many distro's and beatport going bust in 2018, has honestly put us at the brink of bankruptcy. After 3 re-plating and re-cutting jobs (very costly) at 3 different plants, well, It's taken time to make up many losses and keep things moving forward (plants literally shut down during much of the Pandemic). Moving forward, we couldn't be more grateful to our great friends @RAD for having our backs to manifest all of this, and for making it all possible to have a forward trajectory with vinyl projects, old and new.

If you could please reach out and let us know if your shipping address has changed when stock arrives in Sept, we will send out a reminder when it lands. We also have all the stock for domestic and Canadian orders on echospace 004 and 007 unpacked and ready to get shipped out over the coming weeks. We're going to be doing everything we can with the time we have to ensure every customer gets their previous orders, please update with new shipping address to: info@echospacedetroit.com. It's just the 2 of us (would love some help, if anyone is available in the greater Ann Arbor area? nanny? :), we will be working around the clock to get this all back on track. Many thanks for your patience, understanding and support through some of the most challenging and difficult times we've faced, it's appreciated beyond words. Again, we truly apologize for falling off the grid there for a while, and everyone having to wait so long for CD's/Vinyl, we truly feel terrible this has all taken so long.

Our catalog is now available and complete inventory on our official site: www.echospacedetroit.com.

Everything will remain in one spot (less confusion for us, between Steve's ADHD and limited time doesn't help in managing 6 different sites) as we work through back orders from Bandcamp, thanks for your understanding and support through many years of art, heart and passion, it truly is what we live for...

If you would like to unsubscribe, reconsider as you'll miss out on free tunes as we rummage through the old DAT's, Reel's and cassette tapes. ?

Much luv to all of you!
