Who do you admire?

Vince Gilligan

Not sure why, but this name is brilliant! Never was fanboy of the X-Files but there was a special quality about this name. Totally magic. 15 years ago I got a bit tired of the autodesk audio software so I was looking for something new. Then there was this software pirate on a usenet warez group called Vince Gilligan that sold a CD-r for 5 quid called Music 4 Ever and it had everything on it: Native Instruments Generator, Cooledit, VSTs, DJ Software, Cakewalk, Rebirth, Cubase etc. Never bought Music 4 Ever 2. Bet ppl would love to play with those collections now. Hooray for both Vince Gilligans.

There's more women on that list than men. Bit sexist. Presumably that's why you're not naming the electronic artists as they will undoubtedly be men, women generally not having the atavistic drive and intellect necessary to become IDM stars.

What Terry Fox accomplished is beyond comprehension. Voted second greatest Canadian in history. Makes me question the difficulty in everything I'm challenged with.

Artistically, at this moment, Grant Morrison and William Gaddis are bending my brain into all sorts of odd shapes.

People who speak out thoughtfully against state/corporate power, either through the media or in the street, generally have my respect.

My older sister, who runs a small medical clinic practically by herself.

Louie CK's tv show keeps me laughing and surprised; I have to admire him for that.

C. Wright Mills

Wow, never expected him being mentioned. I read most of 'White Collar', but I'd probably feel completely different about it if I read it now.

People who get shit done, are true to themselves, and have a good time doing it. Y'all rule.

This, really.

edit: omitting words...I've been thinking faster than I type lately...
