Post Punk / New Wave / etc

I don’t really know what to call these tunes other than post punk but I go through waves of mild obsession with them. They kind of capture a sound and vibe that could only really come from that era.

As contrived and absurd as it seemed, we all knew that this day would eventually come. Refrigerate the Holstens, draw for the baggie, bust out the mustard, and prepare to respect it: it’s time for GEEZER, the debut LP from loveable idiots ONA SNOP.
Twenty minutes of unrelenting disorientation sees these foolish scamps recklessly tear through 18 brand-new tracks of freaky fastcore to keep your head banging and your mind boggling.

Written by George Wright, Henry Gibson, Joseph Kerry and Kallum Ingham.
Produced and mastered by Ian Boult.
      Artwork by T Bare McClough.

Fun trivia: George Wright is Alex Lenkemz younger brother!

"It appears that Clone Aqualung have a new 12" by Transllusion upcoming or even out now. The EP, A Moment of Insanity, features four tracks, 'Moment 1 - 4'.
I presume this is more unreleased material they have been given access to. However, there is no mention of the release on any of Clone Records websites. I contacted the person who submitted it to Discogs and they told me they bought it direct from Clone's shop in Rotterdam. For now that might be the only place you can purchase it. If anyone else knows more about this mysterious release please share what you know, thanks. clone.nl"
