would you tell your working scheme for the cover?

If you don't wanna spoil the magic it's okay.

Indeed, congratulations for this! Incredible what you can do with a bass.

Congrats man - You've made it onto the Ableton website: https://www.ableton.com/en/blog/deferlow-channels-autechre-bass-guitar-and-live/

I feel like the prettiest gal at the winter ball.

I'm actually, at this moment, doing a final render of a video that demonstrates my process in depth. I'll post it here when everything's in its right place. Thank you for the compliments. Much appreciated.

As promised, here's an in-depth explanation of the system I designed for this performance (yeah, I'm trying to stack paper. look down at me.)

For some reason it seems that the audio is absent when watching the video from this page, but if you open it from Fb it works. It's an arrangement of bass on liccflii, some passages are a pleasure to behold.

others bass covers from this amazing guy, Franz Cardone: M62 and the final section from AE_LIVE philadelphia. Astonishing work: never seeing before such a perfection: the bass line and the synth one are exactly the same.

I suspect if he would isolate his bass playing part, it won't sound particularly intriguing (sort of like Squarepusher on his bass escapades). I mean you could do a lot of rhythmic stuff on top of those tracks and sound cool

well, the extraordinary thing here is that nothing improvised or arranged: it is the exact execution of the synth notes; if you isolate the bass you have the synth score, which is what makes that ae_live passage superlative, therefore not only a good performance but, above all, a meticulous work of reconstructing the melodic line, in a section particularly dense and strongly irregular. For those who watch, or at least for me, the fact of being able to visualize that melody on a practical level, helps me to understand it better, increasing my acoustic onanism :cisfor:

a new cover by Franz Cardone: this time it follows every nuance of Carefree Counter Dronal

...glad Sean talked about him on twitch, what this guy can do is is out of this world
