I got a trip to Taiwan to visit my rents and then to this beach south of where my parents live in Taiwan (also a two night layover with my friend in LA) itunes gift card $15 a bunch of cooking shit from ikea (garlic press, grill pan, cutting board, potato peeler, couple other things; this is all very exciting to me) a 40 dollar full print t-shirt plenty of other things not technically for Christmas but still free from my parents Another question: what did you get for others this Christmas? [-; I've thought this too, and often I do end up getting money which is great, but there is the idea that you can buy shit for people that they would never buy themselves even if they wanted to. Just stuff that you're like "aw man, I have to be a responsible adult so I guess I'll just have to use this on gas even though I would MUCH rather have a Volca." Additionally, it means they don't have to do the shopping, and maybe you'll get them something that they wouldn't have thought of buying but they actually really wanted (for me: my mom bought me cooking supplies and I was like "oh shit yeah! I didn't think of that!"; it's p cheap in Taiwan so I'm also going to go out and get more, wouldn't have thought of it without that).
