yeah aux, wanted to call you out earlier as to why you went dumpster diving to resurrect this thread, but was worried that may come across as slightly dickish. glad you realize now that we aren't mature enough to discuss subject matter such as this, as it will no doubt turn into a melee of sweaty, naked, Aphex lovin dudes, grappling with each other, while the ghost of Lenin laughs hysterically in the background...

"democrats are fighting for you"

>democrats proceed to demonize only prominent presidential candidate who wants basic things like universal healthcare and education, instead backing pedophile ghouls who actively oppose those things

they aren't fighting for me in particular.  I want communism, they sure aren't fighting for that.  they are "fighting" to maintain capitalism with minimal inconvenience to the bourgeoisie, to the point where they won't even give us healthcare

I have to refrain from speaking more at this point because it would merely be a rant on the mentality of particular individuals who settle with such pathetic policies such as those put forward by the democrats, as well as the lack of respect for their own humanity and the humanity of others, to the point of entering voluntary slavery to the capitalist system which exploits them

absolutely pathetic

for real lol i wish the democrats were 10% of the "communists" people make them out to be hahaha american liberals are hilarious

Whats up with the Hillary Clinton picture of her in a small apartment kitchen?: OutOfTheLoop

just look at the look on her face, democrat politicians are still rich business people who are out of touch with reality and the working class. i don't see how any of them are "fighting for americans". they "fight" for the wealth of their friends and themselves

Whatever is going on in the sink area is weird. And that pink cooler above the cabinet likely contains human bones. I'd probably have the same expression upon entering that kitchen.

i think you're taking too much of a psychological view of the concept of education.  and no, I support a bottom up radically democratic system, and the creation of a state capable of oppressing the bourgeoisie yet sufficiently controlled and consisting of the proletariat to the point where it is capable of withering away as the bourgeois threat subsides, socialism is achieved, then communism is achieved, and the proletariat consciousness is raised in a self maintaining way to maintain this status for themselves, know why, and know how.  this is all complicated by the existence of external capitalist powers wishing to destroy any proletarian state and thus requires militarism and grassroots political organizations to withstand any invasions, like in vietnam or cuba

I see the withering away of the state as rather the expansion of the state until it is all encompassing and completely decentralized throughout the entire population.  this requires heavy education to teach the people how to be the state and how to coordinate the entire economic system without the need for a bourgeoisie or a state external to themselves.  it is technically complex, and a big burden and responsibility.  but the proletariat will rise to this challenge, just as the bourgeoisie rose to their challenge in overturning feudalism

I think the primary difference in our ways of understanding capitalism is in our treatment of the unconscious and social aspect of it.  You seem to have a more material and structural worldview.

My understanding is that the State is a tool used by Capital, entirely at the command of Capital, and powerless against it.  Theoretically, the State, being the largest capitalistic organ, could potentially effect an expedience to overpower it and restructure human society;  however, being a contingent structure, it isn't (in its predominant representative-democratic form) capable of lifting itself up out of the mire of capitalistic influences and reclaiming an absolute regime over its own unconscious abstract machines.

I agree with your characterization of the state as subordinate to capital.  I don't think that it exists as an entity with hypothetical capabilities of dominance which are suppressed  by the superior power of capital, but rather that its existence is itself inherently subordinate to capital.  this is especially clear when looking at the structure of the state itself and how much of its functions are doled out as contracts to capitalists, to the point where the bulk of the state is not an entity of itself but is quite literally just an entity existing entirely embedded within capital, with some bureaucratic outcroppings giving an intentional illusion of representative democracy to the proletariat to maintain its own existence.

"""""""Summing up his historical analysis, Engels says:

“The state is, therefore, by no means a power forced on society from without; just as little is it ’the reality of the ethical idea’, ’the image and reality of reason’, as Hegel maintains. Rather, it is a product of society at a certain stage of development; it is the admission that this society has become entangled in an insoluble contradiction with itself, that it has split into irreconcilable antagonisms which it is powerless to dispel. But in order that these antagonisms, these classes with conflicting economic interests, might not consume themselves and society in fruitless struggle, it became necessary to have a power, seemingly standing above society, that would alleviate the conflict and keep it within the bounds of ’order’; and this power, arisen out of society but placing itself above it, and alienating itself more and more from it, is the state.” (Pp.177-78, sixth edition)[1] """""""""""

https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1871/civil-war-france/ch05.htm

""""""But the working class cannot simply lay hold of the ready-made state machinery, and wield it for its own purposes.

The centralized state power, with its ubiquitous organs of standing army, police, bureaucracy, clergy, and judicature – organs wrought after the plan of a systematic and hierarchic division of labor – originates from the days of absolute monarchy, serving nascent middle class society as a mighty weapon in its struggle against feudalism

.""""""

because the state arises from class contradictions under capitalism to mediate them and oppress the proletariat, only through a class conflict can the state take on a proletarian character.  by its very nature the state cannot "turn" communist without the revolutionary proletariat forcing this to happen.  not through historical coincidences or unlikely alliances or betrayals can the state turn proletarian, only through the proletariat themselves, taking hold of the bourgeois state, destroying it, and reconstructing a proletarian state, can such a thing be performed

if a materialist view like this is not what your view is it would be good if you could elaborate on your own

All I know is I'm tryna seize the means of AOC's production before she gets primaried so I can build generational wealth. Together, we will rule the land of the free with an iron fist. The redistribution of wealth/Green New Deal will conveniently starve large swathes of rural America but it will all be for the greater good. My weird hippie aunt did PCP with Pol Pot once and it sounded fuckin rad. Apparently, he was a massive fan of Emerson Lake and Palmer and could grill a mean goat leg. More and more, I fantasize about launching the first strike in a nuclear war, mid orgasm.

WOT

don't give them the answers m8. better to let these things sort themselves out naturally. eventually the correct deductions will be had. similar to how our ancestors figured out sacrificing humans to make the sun appear the next day isn't entirely necessary.

Sorry guys, we're all just houseplants in the age of technofeudalism!

I get that it's quite dystopian in reality but I want technofeudalism to be cool b/c it sounds cool.  Like, say uniting the UR, Tresor and Warp armies with our myriad quarterhorses, lancers, bannermen and 808s and laying siege upon the great disinformation server farms of the netherrealm.
