That chord/pad that kicks in at around 1:39 could use a bit of EQ/toning down/sidechaining around the drums in my opinion. It's drowning out that arpeggio key melody and making the drums much less clear. Banging track though.
array56 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 This is great, the keyboard melody is nice but a bit lost in the mix as already mentioned here, you could try pulling that up a little in the mix. Nice vocal, and really nice harmonies around 2.10 btw
Thiefinger Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Nice! Something by Massive Attack came to mind. She has a good voice. Maybe you should concentrate to make the vocals sound like a million bucks. They're the center of attention here so definitely build around them. Nothing wrong with it now but just to make it even better. Try compressing a bit more, saturation, stereo effects, delays... whatever could be good. But yeah very nice.
