Had a few days off work: had a few beers, had a smoke, had a few slices of pizza, had some pork, had a few more beers. Everything good, everything peachy, but now........

Just how helpful is it to recycle my waste each week? The council picks up my cardboard and glass and plastic, apparently processes it all, then it gets recycled. But they send round humping great lorries that burn diesel into the atmosphere to collect it all. These are separate lorries that come to collect my normal non-recyclable waste. Surely it cannot have a net-positive effect? Manufacturers should be producing less packaging to start with? Ahhhhhh so many questions.

 

And please, stop calling me Shirley.

I've got 4 recycling bins, 3 of which are thrown into the same compartment of the same lorry.
