This is pretty cool. I usually don't like acid, but this was very atmospheric and very well produced. And for once, an acid tune with some actual sub :)

The only thing i was missing was something to drive the tune forward, because not much happens throughout the track, right? I'm almost 100% sure that a subtle and deep 4/4 kick that ever so slowly fades in would add SO much to your tune.

I took your advice - or tried to - I found a 4/4 kick didn't really work (probably because the track's effectively in half time) but some boomin sub bass kicks did lift the monotony, I also stuck some dub delay in because ever since the K&D sessions came out however many years ago I've been secretly addicted to it.

This one creates a nice atmosphere. I really like it!

cheers

Yeah!!! That's more like it :) This is great! Some of the best stuff I've heard on this forum in a looooong time. Fuck man, if I had more time on my hands I would ask you if I could remix it...

Liked and followed :)

Do you know TM404? I think you'd like it

Cheers, well if you get time pm me, I've got to export the separates anyway for gigging with it.

I think I've seen one of these videos before, I'm just about to build my second x0xb0x so I'm on my way. I've got the rare parts sorted, original BA6110 ftw - fuck knows what it's been pulled from.

Nice stuff! I'd like to see a pad sweep by a couple of times to add more of a dramatic effect. You use the acid synth with great feeling man :p

After over a year in lockdown Love Love launches LOVLTD, a new series of limited records containing the tuffest system boomers and shakers. Focused towards igniting the dancefloor this series is a celebration of rave in all its forms: Acid Stompers & Wonkers / Hardcore Continuum // Heavyweight Bass Flex. All the 12”s are graced with artwork by foundational UK graffiti legends A.W.E ‘All World Experts’ est 1984- most notably Keen and Check.

To start proceedings Romford-born, Bristol-based producer Ben Pest gives us 4 slabs of lysergic bass-bolstered techno. With records on Don’t, I Love Acid & Earwiggle and following recent collaborations with IMOGEN and Radioactive Man, Ben’s style of techno is some of the slickest and dirtiest going, getting played out by the likes of Bicep and DJ Stingray.

A1 ‘Rugged’ drabs a chunky square 303 over strobing flickers of percussion with a kick drum the size of mars, building to an absolute acid-fuelled fervour. A2 ‘On The Three’ boasts a catchy groove reminiscent of mid-noughties warehouse phunk, brandishing cartoony melodies that will put an unhinged smile on the most cynical of ravers’ mushes.

Whilst the A side ends bouncey, the B-Side starts off crushing and trancey with ‘83 Is The Wan’, featuring a catatonic kick drum in a New York club pattern driving through a hazy technoid labyrinth that’ll have ravers weaving spirit entities for many a dance to come. Final track ‘More Horrors’ is a full on, no-nonsense party banger. Weighty old skool techno heft with a deep murky bassline and acid squelches. Techno doesn’t come much fatter or funner than this.

      Limited to 300 copies only.

This release of mostly analog techno jammers is pay what you want and what I get from this album I will be sending to the Ecotarium, a local science museum here in Worcester MA USA, which is closed now, and scuffling in these Covid19 times.

For me, this makes sense. With all the shittiness in the world, this may seem like an odd choice. I'll just say this place means a lot to me and I don't want to see it diminished by the most recent urgent shittiness. I grew up going to this museum with my family and friends. I had birthday parties there. I got my first real job there in high school. Now, I bring my kids there. One of the recent arrivals, an orphaned puma, has the same name as my youngest daughter (not planned, just cosmic). I have family members that got married there.

For you, they have a little train that you can ride that goes through a tunnel and everyone yells. They sell astronaut ice cream.

Made with Roland TR-8S, Korg Minilogue, Arturia DrumBrute, Korg Volca Bass, Reason and Abelton.

The first 4 EPs' vinyl pressings were crowdfunded through Qrates. This one is on presale through Bandcamp, direct. (Needs 100 presales to get pressed) Good Stuff on here...   The vinyl presale of first full release of 2021 from the Mighty Force label is a five tracker featuring a some stomping Acid Breakbeats from Sven Kössler, pure Acid House by Jay Strata, Rayspark Industries remix of Drǿn's "Wallow" from MF ACID #2, a Drǿn remix of "You Know" by Rayspark Industries from MF ACID #1 and an excerpt from the soundtrack to a movie that was never made courtesy of Long Range Desert Group. The vinyl will ship early May (I expect). Digital release will be March 26th (which is why it's currently priced at £1000, it will revert to normal price on that date). All vinyl will be sent tracked and signed for. https://mightyforce.bandcamp.com/album/mf-acid-5
