Evening all,

I have a Korg Padkontrol and it's great for jamming lots of stuff, and I've managed to create a few instruments inside Ableton which are perfect, especial for improv, but I have one small problem that I'd like to fix but I'm stumped.

On one scene of the 4x4 pad layout, I have the bottom 2x4 set up to play various samples inside Drum Rack, and the top 2x4 mapped to turn each corresponding strip on or off. Now that works and it's great for dropping in and out sections within a loop (as well as helping me with a cue for each pad). One small problem though; I can't get the visual feedback I want.

On any other piece of equipment I have used, when something is mapped to a parameter which operates as either on/off, then the pad I have selected will be lit up when on, and off when off. Does it on my Launchcontrol, on my LPD8 when I used to run that. But not with this.

Now I think I have the right set up in MIDI Preferences (though I maybe wrong), and I have switched between momentary and toggle for the pad but it makes no difference (in terms of feedback).

Any ideas, or is this just a limitation of the controller? First time I've ever come across this, always assumed every device acted the same way with this. Really want to get this solved because I have so many pages/scenes that it'd be good to automatically jump to one and know immediately which pad is on or off.

Thanks.
