this has become really annoying lately, are there that many dumbass web surfers out there who really think a website can only hold one picture of a celebirty at a time? they started out as shit like "top tens" or "top five", now I see lists from 20-30 pages! hello, you just wasted your time, AND generated ad revenue for a website that is probly owned by some asshole up the chain. worst trend of 2014

Doodz and doodettez, sorry to say-- but I've been far in the future, and lemme tell you, eventually websites are only adds, and "content" is served on a word basis. So you have to keep clicking NEXT several thousand times to read a paragraph. Well, it's not really "click" of a mouse in 2032, but you get the idea. There is no such thing as real content, anymore. The ads ARE MOST OF THE CONTENT.

This sounds ridiculous, but if you've noticed, you'll see it's already around. Japan has WHOLE SHOWS that are actually commercials in variety program in disguise. It's fucking hilarious.

In some sort of irony, XLT actually outlives WATMM, because WATMM requires care and upkeep. That is something to think about, right there.

i use old boss's email details etc to go through these, more so on the 'WIN A IPOD' ones etc

That's genius. I'm absolutely doing that from now on.

Yeah those top 10+ lists spread out on 10+ pages are super fucking annoying. I noticed on one recently if you view the mobile version sometimes it's consolidated on one long page. It's worth trying to replace the www. with m. and seeing if it works.

it'll die down a bit simply because I think people are getting tired of it.

1 Neat Trick that will Trick the Clickbait Sites EVERY TIME!

No really, many articles have a 'Print' link on them somewhere. It basically reformats the entirety of the text/relevant pictures into an easy-to-print (therefore easy-to-read) page. If you can find the print button, you can forego clicking 'Next' 9 times. Also, most (all?) modern browsers have a "Reading View" function that usually pulls up something similar to what I just described.

The more you know.
