Universal Indicator Yellow

Dunno if this should be in the Aphex Subforum or Music Discussion, since we're talking about Dredd.

It seems like every source I've found has a differing tracklist for Universal Indicator Yellow. Does anyone have info on what the correct track lengths, track order, and speeds/rpm should be? Audio examples would be nice.

I swear I've heard 5 different versions of TARDIS over the years.

Lovingly Yours,

Murveman

Bit obvious maybe, but discogs has the right order / track lengths (used to be wrong though) + speeds:

I think the track titles are fanmade as well, as they aren't on the record or anything. PS this is by far my fave Universal Indicator 12" that Mike did.

Huh, didn't notice the Rephlex Records subforum.

Bookmarked, thanks. Now I just have to hunt down these files. My tracklengths are a mess.

It's definitely my favorite of the UI's as well.

First track in that YT upload is way too long for some reason, the original lasts 7:28.

Second one here is 33 while it should be 45.

Third and fourtrack are good.

Fifth track is missing.

Mike Dred's right, that video is a laugh

I've been on a massive Mike Dred binge lately, the guy is massively underrated. Chimera, Freaquenseize + Side E5, his Machine Code works, etc. And he's still going strong, he just announced a new album as well:

Also, I posted this elsewhere, but Mike recently did a phone interview + someone made a really wicked 1.5 hour mix of all his best stuff (1 track from every release) - https://intergalacticfm.com/content/audio.php?a=i&i=2840

(Yeah, the Rephlex forum is around for a few months now, I figured Universal Indicator talk should belong there.)

Part 3 of the Series. Wayne's Tantrum is so called because Wayne hated it when i played it and got really upset. The 808 patterns in Waynes Tantrum each have different time signatures and are triggered on the fly, not arranged. They are the result of removing the batteries over night and then replacing them for the next session.

the yellow titles on discogs are correct. he told me the story behind the title waynes tantrum, a mate of his or something that thought his composition was chaotic and annoying
