How old is your property?

It doesn't have to be owned by you - rented is okay too.

Just more interested in ages really.

Please try and be honest about this - it's not a competition.

The house I'm living in was built in 1936 - according to the deeds document.

Regards

Great-grandfather built this house in 1902 with friends. He was a stone mason from Norway and did the foundation with smooth boulders leftover from the yard, which were leftover from the last glaciers to carve through Northern Wisconsin and create the great lakes. 8x12 beams and most of the other wood was harvested from an old church. Structurally it's very sound & beautiful and it contains three generations of Americana.

There has been a property here since the 1700s, and some of the walls are still the original walls, however its a bit of a frankenstien of a house, bits added and removed over the years.

Btw, I don't live in some beautiful Georgian cottage, its a shithole with no central heating.
