I dunno, I must just not be hearing something. Or maybe I need to be in the right mindset first. I heard it compared to OPN earlier though, and I've honestly never been able to get into any of his music either, so perhaps it's some common thread I just don't understand.

 

you're referring to me i guess, i called it a better version of the recent OPN stuff. while i LOVE most of OPN's music i find it hard to get into r+7 and the recent ep's. however, i guess it's one of those tracks you have to let sneak up on you - i like playing tracks i don't "get" in the background while doing sth. else to let them soak in, and then suddenly you listen up aBAAMMM!!! wtf this is a great trak whyhaveinever

 

i guess you also have to listen to it in its entirety, not skipping any part, hypnotize u n shit

just when i thought Vice couldn't get any worse,. I figured Rupert Murdoch's investment would be paying for better writing than this shit. Jason Leopold for Vice does really good shit, but virtually everyone else is pretty bland or just blatantly dumb or bad like this guy
