Sure, he's in the states preparing for the Grammy's. That's why he's uploading tracks on a crappy connection. Hotel wifi.

He's probably going to win the grammy. Let's be honest here.

I really like how all of us have free license, essentially, to appreciate each track for what it is. I'm glad he didn't just release a few thrown-together albums, and that it really is like stumbling upon the mp3 player on the plane.

How was this soundcloud first discovered? In my excitement to rip all the first streams I think I missed that part. How did we get where we are today, watmm?

userblablabla001 commented on aphextwin soundcloud CCAI track, something like "i also made electronics in 90s, gonna upload my dats" and aphextwin responded to him (to himself, basically). aaaand the rest is history

edit:

Would like to know the full setup for this track, brilliant music man, I loved your early 90's stuff, I was doing stuff in the early 90's as well similiar to you but I did know about you when I did it, gunna be uploading it slowly to soundcloud, stay tuned!

@user487363530: beautiful stuff, would love to hear more

The account commented on the Aphex Twin upload of Diskhat ALL [snr2mix] saying he was making music at the same time but didn't know about Rich for a long while, also happens to be 43, and that he'd be uploading his stuff. Then he started uploading things that got people to think it was RDJ in true Steinvord fashion, then it became obvious it was him after a while.

Just noticed: "33 johnny hawkes broken guitar..." has a very similar drum pattern as "come to daddy (little lord faulteroy mix)".

Probably been observed by someone else already.

and á propos another look back at watmm's very own cassandras:

honestly i think its best no one here makes a new thread drawing too much attention to them. It's fun for now because of the low listen count, once these blow up who knows what will happen (they might all go down like syrobonkers).

I suppose if they did have their own thread there'd be a FACT article up within a day or two and we'd never see any more uploads

srsly though, i find it interesting how careful everybody trod (?) before it was clear beyond any doubt that this really is the work of rdj. then of course ZOMG WTF t's teh phex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edit: just noticed innovative use of syrobonker here - "he went down like a syrobonker!" "gtfo, u krazy syrobonker!"

All right people, the Ginja Ninja has given us a weekend off and quite rightly so, who can eat 157 pies in one sitting? School run in the morning, home, coffee, tune in, turn on and upload Monday if the missus allows, yeah!!
