biggest indication so far of rdj involvement in bumtrumpet account: notice the ventolin laughing sample at the start of lucky bag suite: https://soundcloud.com/user18081971/lucky-bag-suite

i know anybody could sample it into their own creations, but in this case i take a leap of faith. sorry for spamming the forum with this observation.

I've downloaded that luckybagsuit a couple of months ago on slsk, it was part of a collection of fake tuss tracks and had Bargain Stinker as the artist. (He has some awesome tracks btw: atic atic, juno 6 + dds-20m, Stink Ramp 5a, 2dpuzzler)

That same folder also had a nice track called Digiboy wich came from this account: https://soundcloud.com/digiboymusic

First post by the way :)

ah, thanks for the info, ninja.

I'm more than happy with what has already been shared, the whole thing is still unbelievable really. I'm thinking there will be more in the future...either free or perhaps in the form of a box set or something. Especially since one of his comments said "not even near that lot yet" when asked about Druqs era material.

Funniest comment...when asked about Grammy - "haven't got it yet, I want to throw it in the bog"

Aw, I didn’t think the videos were that bad. They are kinda nice, actually.

I like how the numbers have their own internal rhythm and flicker and kind of ‘talk’ back and forth to each other in the way that they move. I totally would have believed it was a real quick CC teaser for something.

EDIT: Been away a bit and am catching up via YouTube. Is diskhat [hipHop mix] by Richard? I thought it was a fan-made remix.

exactly. Now that I have been forced to download them I've been having fun curating them into smaller playlists that make it more digestible. and also realized how much better the quality is in the downloaded versions.

Did Rich post many comments after the N-word one before the account was removed? It would be pretty depressing if the camel's back was broken by that straw.

This what i was thinking towards too. i think there as maybe 2 more short comments after that but i may be tripping

!

yeah I'm planning to do that too, like make cohesive mixtapes out of it, to listen in my walkman [yes I still use tapes!!] i'd mix it with syrobonkers tracks too, because i like the experimental/noise side of afx too. [Aphex Airlines is one of my all time favourites from him]

I panicked and saved every single comment, every album artwork, every track during the initial week this happened

But now that I started taking it for granted and assuming it would always be there, I stopped doing so and focused on the music. Richard probably prefers people to do this anyhow. But I do sort of wish I continued to be a bit more obsessive.

pretty insignificant in light of whats happened, but....

is anyone else surprised that 'afx 71 71' is supposedly from '94?

i assumed it was a quick sketch from the come to daddy era

omg, previously available tracks that everyone and their mother has downloaded! being uploaded to soundcloud! which anyone could do! it must be richard! surely nobody would ever impersonate richard!

Of course not, what would be the point of that?

surely not to get people to notice that the account is only following navs on soundcloud. Why, that would only benefit navs!

Somebody's probably already mentioned it, but what's this? https://soundcloud.com/user48736353001-3

And what's the deal with that rumoured '21Phloes' track? I've got it but don't know whether it's a pukka RDJ track or not. Anyone?

It would be nice if people (not just you) would at least read the last few pages of the thread instead of posting the same question on every new page, it's been posted already. It's fake.

Also, that 208th track is most likely just made up (also posted earlier).

holy macaroni I just heard "avril 14th reversed music not audio" on American radio, mixed with some experimental sounds

earlier also a shitty chopped and screwed "remix" of Make A Baby i haven't heard anywhere, a fragment of Phlaps and some of user901489418's afx remixes, all less or more mixed with/squished between various noise

i ain't bullshittin, a certain FM station has an experimental music show which I love to listen to via streaming. it's always a good Friday starter, but this was a weird one.

there were other electronic musicians too but only short fragments. i loved when Brian Eno popped up over Merzbow.
