Bought the Winter In Polarius repress last week, been waiting for that one for ages! One of my fave Legowelt records :) also got two of those Nightwind Gazettes magazines with it! It's time for another Nightwind tape release imo.

Listening to that new mix now, very lush & regenerating.

Just picked up Crystal Cult 2080 last week, it's so damned solid. Will be listening to it for years.

Also the topic header up there makes me bring up the idea of a Legowelt subforum again...he's certainly more active than most subforums, has a ton of content to sift through and consider/discuss (at least news of, though I could definitely see some speculation and such with such weird references in his tunes all the time), and would certainly be more active than the Clark or Ceephax subforums. Maybe worth bringing up to JR, dunno if it was ever seriously considered. Also of course there's the possibility that the new forum could make the idea of artist-specific subforums less important, but still, thought I'd mention it. It's difficult keeping up with all of his stuff

Last year was "the last top 100" but the IFM Top 69 announced in the zine has just started, with some Motörhead.

https://www.intergalactic.fm/tv/

Yassss, no xmas without it :) I'm up for it!

Also, re: subforum debate, I think the idea was to get rid of the subforums altogether and have the forum more tag-based...

Just tuned in to the top 69, didn't see any mention of it in the zine?

The cocktailbar in the video feed reminds me what a depressing place Scheveningen can be, no offence meant to anyone from around there.

Haha, got a mate who lived there for over 20 years, it was great because he was about 2 minutes away from the beach, but beyond that he didn't know anything going on there. The forest there is cool for summernight bonfires though :)

The Snob100 is going smoooth, strictly classix so far :music:

Yeah, it's just the "strip" area with bad Chinese restaurants and gokpaleizen that gets to me.

This track right now, yeeeeesss!

The arpeggiating synths and the bassline are slightly reminiscent of this hit:

That super chill ambient track with the rain and thunder sounds from the 'Thanks for the drawings' mix wouldn't sound out of place there actually. Hope it still comes out at some point.

Speaking of mixes, the Dogz Take Drugz Too one he did with the latest issue of Shadow Wolf is probably my favorite mix of his since the Crème podcast from a couple of years ago, it's that good.

Just found the Crystal Cult cd with a nice reduction on https://global-darkness.myshopify.com/products/legowelt-crystal-cult-2080-digipack-cd-creme-cd-11. A few other items on winter sale. Ends the end of januari.

Also found this to still be available for free https://awolfe.home.xs4all.nl/a500tapes.htm. The ZIP doesn't work, but the individual tracks do.

Nice, so nice...

The original handtyped ASCII file used in this videoclip will be included in the digital release so you can check it out at your leisurely pace.

:dadjoke:

Track more than lives up to its name too, holy shit.

Bought both new tapes at Clone. Almost went for the digital version of the new Smackos because of all the cool extra's, but I already have all the other Nightwind tapes... OCD wins (speaking of, too bad these new ones don't come on those cool plastic tape boxes like the others).

I was planning to buy the CD, but cost/shipping to the US is a bit much...Will probably just grab the digital on Bandcamp so if you want me to see some of the extras, let me know :)
