Probably deserves its own thread. Been reading comments from OPN, Surgeon and Ekoplekz tonight. .... The Mego label was so far reaching.  Such a young age to go.

Devastating news. He was such an influential figure on the experimental scene, what more can be said... Quietus has done a pretty touching piece on his roots, sounds like a truly wonderful human who breathed music his whole life. Rest in noise, captain pita! ❤️

nine members

After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Gray died on May 24, 2010, and was replaced during 2011–2014 by guitarist Donnie Steele.

The knot was untied after Paul Gray's death, the number was changing after hiatuses and tours...

Fuck me man, he was my hero back then...

And Paul Johnson. Fucking hell, another legend. RIP

Shit dude. I remember when I started raving back in Chicago in 96 Paul Johnson was the main dude on the house scene. Must have seen him spin 20 times. Only DJ I ever saw at a rave spinning from a wheelchair as well.
so sad. Also, fuck covid. Wear your masks and get your damn shots.
