The last 3 albums I listened to in my van were all Kinks, albeit ones released before Ian was a member.

Weren't they trying to record a new album?

^oh wow, that's terrible. the Purple Mountains album he just released is really fucking good. lyrically it is pretty depressing though. if that was indicative of his recent state of mind, then he was definitely in a dark place.

It's easy to hate on the Kochs, and with good reason, but they aren't all bad, giving over $1 billion to charity.  Although a lot of those were conservative causes, some were for the common good.

generosity isn't giving something you have lots of, generosity is giving something to someone when they need it more than you. fuck'em
