I'm also old fashioned, I mean I love complexity and experiments and all, but what I usually want to find is ... something ... beautiful, maybe a melody, something to sing or whistle along. Something that tells me "the composer had an idea". After the years, I'm pretty immune against just sheer experimenting with not much musical (ideas) background. I want to be impressed by IDM artists who play instruments and studied counterpoint. Who have clues about what minor scale is. Something like this :-)

If you guys hate your copies please sell them to me, I am cheap and don't want to buy the CD from her bandcamp with high postage (seriously why no just download? Why not take advantage of the digital...platform?)

I bought the disc anyway, waiting for the digital would indeed have been in vain lol

 

Worth it though, listening to a full album stream and it's fantastic, no regrets here in helping the press machine.

What a fantastic grower, probably my fav 2015 release so far. It's a wonderful, futuristic, pop record.

I'm also a melody junky, and I don't think this LP lacks any. I bet it'd be more obvious if the sound-palette wasn't 99% cut-up, processed and layered vocals. Of course, YMMV, yada yada :)

talk about someone ego getting out of control. I think that this kind of behavior is more and more accepted in our society and very worrying.

What are the ideal conditions for enjoying ASMR? Nude? In bed? Room temp? Time of day?

i think being a cute pocket sized person who is into super deformed anime aesthetics probably helps a lot, either that or just being an absolute asshole (bad racist joke)
