A remix I'm done with, I think

I liked it ! Very hypnotic, well mastered plus I didn't find it long or too repetitive while listening. The track's structure is great and works flawlessly. The female uhh-uhh at 2:20 and 4:50 could use more reverb to merge with the other voices, that's the only thing that bothered me.

Cheers mate. Yeah it stands out to me a bit too, I'm in danger of entering Sade territory there...

I thought it was more cinematic than any other description. Make more for us.

there is that mild moodshift mentioned before with the voice.. If you added reverb to it... it might cover up the accompanying notes if the release or decay were too high... so in other words i like it for what it is right now.

It is pretty hypnotic, could leave it on and zone out for a few minutes but I think it is slightly too long, there isn't much to focus on in the first part, the 2nd part has more variation and is really nice. Good stuff.

I was thinking of adding in a bit more variation into the beginning. There's loads of weird sounds on the other stems that I haven't used yet. Maybe some subtle percussion additions etc.

Sealt is a curious Russian label (with just a couple of mentions here on WATMM) releasing unique limited edition pressings from various electronic artists, e.g. Volor Flex is hazy Burial-ish two-step garage; Ambidextrous should be a familiar name to some with his cinematic ambient works on different labels. Too bad a lot of the releases haven't had full digital releases, but especially the newer ones are also available in digital. Highly recommended.

Sort of sounds like Plaid songwriting structure with some industrial influence. Has some odd time signatures thrown in there with some solid melody writing. I've been playing this a lot lately.

I collected together some older and more recent tunes, which I feel have some things in common regarding style and sound. My musics seem to be categorizable by a handful of different methods/approaches, and I guess this is one of those (still undecided about further compilations of different things).

      Hi!

I’m Timi Alexander, a 23-year old Finnish singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist living in London, and I'll be releasing my debut solo album on Soundcloud and Spotify within a week or two. The record takes influence from the 90s alternative rock and hip hop production (Liquid Swords is a big inspiration on the skit-like nature of the album flow), a combination that will further be explored on the future releases, as well as Aphex Twin. I've performed and produced all the music in my bedroom, an environment I've found surprisingly inspiring over the course of the making of the album.
