After many time finally i finally re- purchased a smartpho(e)ne(ix). It's the Moto 4G and I feel giddy. The last smartphone I had, the Iphone 3g, was smashed on a radiator

purposefully

repeatedly

by me

back in 2011, right before the time in which i secluded myself from the scary world and hid myself in dark- and aloneness.

Behold, my new smartphone. It is a delicate thing of beauty.

After being away for 4 years, I feel pretty n00b in smartphone land.
What are some essential apps to have? Whatsapp is the main reason why I buy this thing: because that's how my friends stay in touch these days. Heard things of Tindr, ofcourse. But other than that I am unknowledgeable on the this's 'n thats. What other cool things can a smartphone do?

Basically I'm interested what smartphone land is in 2015.

Show me magic :sorcerer:

Wolfram Alpha (Basically a really powerful calculator app)

Twilight (Changes the colour and brightness of your phone screen, depending on the time of day. Makes using your phone at night easier on your eyes.)

Duolingo (For learning new languages, there's a website too.)

Google Rewards (Fill in surveys and get credit for the Play Store.)

Shazam

I'd recommend basically everything on oscillik's list too.
