I bought "The Matrix of Us" based on his Plaid remix a long time ago and was very underwhelmed save for "Genetical Love". I had written him off. I checked on his Kompakt release based on Kooch's post and goddamn it blew me away. So much so that I had to buy it. Yeah, his album this year is his best imo. logboy Posted December 28, 2015 Share Posted December 28, 2015 both boomkat and bleep are fairly obviously geared towards judging music from a perspective of also selling, so shouldn't take long for most to spot that element. different, though a little more distasteful, than judging it from the perspective of perpetuating freebies or identity at the ultimate expense of the readership, like some sites, i guess ... that said, i find 'best of' year-end lists useful for catching stuff i missed, especially in the age where soundcloud links can be placed on pages - i probably pick up several albums each year by using these previews, only one so far this year - 'fis'.
