Google is messing with youtube and has likely ruined it. The option to reply to/thumbs up and down a video seems to be removed. And now:

The Comments section of the YouTube Inbox will no longer update when new comments are left on your videos.
Instead, the new YouTube comment system uses the Google+ notification system to let you know when someone's commented on your videos or your channel. Now you can receive notifications via email, on your mobile device, and in the Google bar.
