^The lost Russian Cosmonauts video is actually pretty interesting and seems totally plausible. Wouldn't surprise me if NASA had done similar things, either. The bit about possible one-way Russian moon landings will come to light one day if we ever go poking around on the moon and find some leftovers.

I think NASA had too much transparency and civilian leadership to cover stuff up. The USSR had entire cities closed off with restricted access for their space program. The revelations of Laika's death only decades later is pretty telling. Gagarin's death was very suspicious as well. I too have always thought this conspiracy was plausible.
