Pre-sale tickets tomorrow so get on it quick

tried but failed, I doubt that I'll have much luck on the 18th, I'm usually pretty positive but I'm wisely pessimistic about getting any tickets for the London shows

65 quid to see Radiohead in a fairly small (for them) venue is okay by me. If it was Wembley or Hyde Park I wouldn't even care but the opportunity to see them there has me frothing at the mouth. But I froth no more, as it's not gonna happen.

i think the roundhouse is 3300 people. last time i saw them as about 5 years back, slightly smaller venue than that. i think i've seen them several times in venues only holding a few hundred people, and paid less than a tenner to get in - but we're going back 20 years. not sure if they're done many really large shows.

Hopes dashed

"Update: Radiohead have issued a statement dismissing Brian Messages claims, provided to DIY by the bands publicist.

The statement reads:

At an industry event in London last night Brian Message was asked about new Radiohead music. Quotes attributed to him and taken from his talk have subsequently appeared, describing him as Radioheads manager. Brian Message is not Radioheads manager - he is a partner in Courtyard Management but plays no operational role, and therefore any quotes from last nights event, or any supposition arising from them, should not be attributed to Radioheads management or be seen as official quotes on behalf of the group. Radiohead are managed by Chris Hufford and Bryce Edge at Courtyard Management.

quote doesn't exactly dash hopes just yet. says the guys seems to work for or with their management while not being directly involved with the band. sounds like the guy caught wind of news and let it out early. theres also the news/rumour recently that paul thomas anderson has directed a video for radiohead. + the tour of course. may/june still seems like a legit release window methinkgs :^)
