some great stuff to check out here. . thought id contribute a few that haven't been named yet

Amnesia Scanner - AS

really liked this one, anything else you liked that's similar? I dug Rabit's new EP as well, seemed similar

Love AS and this kind of sonic aesthetics. I'd highly, highly recommend:

- Antwood - Virtuous.scr

- WWWINGS - PHOENIXXX

- v1984 - Becoming N(one)

- everything on Lee Gamble's label UIQ (Lee Gamble, Zuli, N1L, Lanark Artefax)

- oh and of course, JG Biberkopf's Ecologies on KNIVES. Can't wait for his LP.

- and PAN's catalogue is also worth investigating.

So right, UIQ has released 4 great Eps, Lanark Artefax and Lee Gamble being standouts, and PAN are releasing the most interesting music around imho, inc M.E.S.H and Valerio Tricoli, who've had great releases this year.

2814 - Rain Garden, my album of the year.

I need to give this one another spin. Their first album was super well-regarded but Rain Garden sounded even more emotional and unabashed.

Sorry for eavesposting, but I'd check out Ling's "Attachment" EP if you haven't already. Find it really enjoyable and intelligent.

Thanks for the recommendations! This will keep me busy. PAN and UIQ I'm familiar with but only via Lee Gamble, they seem like labels that are putting the exact stuff I am seeking out.

Guys

It's called Rain Temple

and it's their third album.

Who let this rabble in?

We run this rabble!

Dumb mistake on my part though. Atop mistyped and I copied it without even thinking twice.

This album is up there with MNesh and Telephone album tho (jk, see what I did there)

The proof is in the pudding. I've heard that Aesop Rock album a couple of times when it was released and thought it was ace, then it slipped from memory. Need to have a revisit asap.

Original list I posted

Autechre - El Seq
Mark Pritchard - Under The Sun
Anenon - Petrol

Tim Hecker - Love Streams
Skepta - Konichiwa
Not Waving - Animals
Moomin - A Minor Thought
Prins Thomas - Principe Del Norte
Skee Mask - Shred
Roly Porter - Third Law
Anthony Childs - Maui Recordings
Robert Rich - What We Left Behind
Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith
Paul Jebanasam - Continuum

Favs in bold

Things I'd like to ad:

Steven Julien - Fallen

Aleksi Perala - Colundi

TM404 - Acidub

Kornel Kovacs

Delroy Edwards - Hangin' At the Beach
Butechno - Goshua Rubinsky Show Release

Various Artists - USSR (Russian / Ukrainian underground house on Opal Tapes)

Larry Heard - Qwazars
Convextion - 2845

In my opinion nothing is going to top Convextion - 2845 that album is kind of out there in a league of it's own. 2nd and 3rd is going to be Autechre - Elseq and Roly Porter - Third Law. Only a couple of months left but I've pretty much decided there isn't going to be anything to top those.
