Claudius t Ansuulim
Hey thanks! I think I still have a little work on marchmadness, wanna drop out and weave in some of the parts so they don't fatigue the ear. Been on a rum kick lately! Claudius t Ansuulim
Apparently inspired by one very special move on the original Soul Caliber and a test for ai: https://soundcloud.com/clodindustries/flying-orbs-of-ivy-turing-sessions-mx
gemini archives
Hey nice tracks. Really love the textures of Sumbangerzeh. Very cool evolution with the rhythm throughout. Marchmadness is another favorite of mine, really unique sound.
Claudius t Ansuulim
Marchmadness was a fun track, brought out the Zoom RT323 for the first time in ages and synced it with a couple ios drum machines and one of the 4-track cassettes I’ve accumulated piles of over the years. Thanks for the kind words!
QQQ
Flying Orbs is really nice - the only criticism i really have is that i'd like a bit more separation in the mix. get those sweeping/pulsing synths pushed out to sides a bit. some really cool sounds are buried in there. that whole first section is fantastic. Eyredub is really cool too. i like what the bass is doing.
Claudius t Ansuulim
Made a trainwreck of a song, I enjoy it but I don’t know if others will...? https://soundcloud.com/clodindustries/b7tree
auxien
Yeah that's a bit much for me. It's fun and I like the feel overall, but a bit overwhelming and disparate in what seemed like not-good ways on my first listen.
Claudius t Ansuulim
Yeah, that’s kinda how I feel about it as well, I tried to take incongruous rhythm tracks and bring them in line by saturating the “off” rhythm track with delay/reverb/chorus/etc to bring it in line, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Here are two tracks we made recently where I think the live drums jived really well w/ the electroniques: https://soundcloud.com/clodindustries/grownin https://soundcloud.com/clodindustries/goneaway
Claudius t Ansuulim
Went to the top of the highest mountain during the last new moon, weekend before the solstice. Came back and cut out some tracks. First one is fairly straightforward electronic, second devolves into some longform psychedelia if you have the patience for it: https://soundcloud.com/clodindustries/spring-aperture https://soundcloud.com/clodindustries/galactic-sunset

TheBro
Technically not my thing. Just too glitchy for my tastes. I reckon you'll hate my stuff lol. Sorry man.
Claudius t Ansuulim
Not at all man, just checked out some of yr stuff, reminds me of the type of music you’d hear in modern video games. It seems like yr building tracks with some respect to form, which is an admirable approach. I tend to veer towards leftfield cuz I use my music to fill gaps in my musical diet, like how the body uses it’s dna to produce amino acids not necessarily derived from nutrition. I forewent the traditional approach long ago...

eczem
shook my ass hard to this... Hoping the tapeworm is gone now. Some nice texture in there. If i were to offer constructive critique, I would say that it could use more macro level variation; some sudden or gradual structural changes would be welcome. That, or something like modulation of the beat/rhythm within a bar. Of course some it comes down to taste; I like a lot of variation and unpredictability

Claudius t Ansuulim
Gonna try to mess about with tapeworm sometime if I happen upon it’s original mix, it’s got a few fun stems iirc. Here’s one for the upcoming SUPER BLOOD WOLF MOON JANUARY 2019!!! https://m.soundcloud.com/clodindustries/aquarian-moonshifter
