:cerious:

For those not wanting to bother:

Some bros take the piss out of Boards of Canada's song, Reach for the Dead.

They're all like Neil Hamburger with none of the talent or charm.

97% of all comedy podcasts fill me with nihilistic despair... just added another one to the pile

I listened listen from the beginning of the episode and just found it really grating. generally not into comedy podcasts though.

just to be clear, I wasn't trying to troll any body by posting this.

I thought it was a funny "worlds colliding" moment for my iPod.

I also thought it might be fun fodder for the WATMM community to re-sample Pardo's words into a fresh piece of IDM....

I occasionally listen to this podcast, it has some great moments but i often use it as background noise. I was really excited to hear Boards of Canada mentioned, but when they played "Reach for the Dead" i instantly knew it was going to fall on it's face. I like that track, but it really requires your full attention and the right headphase. I feel like it was a poor choice of lead single for them, many of my BoC appreciating friends found it dull. I think Cold Earth or Palace Posy or New Seeds would have been a great way to hit the ground running for them when they gave us their first taste of new music.
