Recommend me/us good electronic music I/we (may) have never heard of (please)

Recommended Posts

So with 98% of the global population producing music on fucking computers, I'm certain there are loads of really quite amazing tracks/eps/albums that i have never heard of.

This thread is for people to link obscure, 'unknown', random treasures you have discovered for the benefit of all watmmkind!

Much obliged and good day to you sirs and madams

I guess not so ''underground'' but I've been enjoying Overlords by Volitune and VIII Circuli Putrida by Bank XIV. Especially the latter one! Seriously, go check it out. I'm not the biggest AE fan but could see the real fans of the duo enjoy the fuck out of that too. Both are Occult Research releases. Still some tapes left. And when speaking of OR there are these two:

BTW Cool thread, sir.

Secede - Bye Bye Gridlock Traffic

Secede is great.

Vaervaf is unique and prolific: https://vaervaf.bandcamp.com/album/waisthome

Here is a really awesome ambient album by a female artist that reminds me a bit of Tomita's work http://rebeccatripp.bandcamp.com/album/spirit-candy

Metamatics is a lesser known idm god. Check out Mind Mushing Git.

Sean HTCH made a great game called Anodyne, and this album called Model Minority No More that I love to bits https://htch.bandcamp.com/album/model-minority-no-more-5-2015-solo-album

Momus is great and weird, been working the 80s, check out his most recent album Glyptothek. videos for each of the songs here http://imomus.com/glypto.html

EKT forum here has lots of greats, pilotredsun, Owen Gilbride, Blaž, and Nowfeel are a few that stand out to me from this year

Excellent list! There's a lifetime worth of quality music just in the Vidna Obmana and Asmus discography..

I will add anything by Thomas Koner:
