this was a significant hearing. this dude was right in the center of one of the solid accounts of obstruction of justice detailed by mueller. in the hearing he squirms and acts like a chump, along with these gop dudes, but he confirms the damning facts of the crime.

here are a few good cross examinations.

and here is jim jordan. think about what jim jordan and lewandowski are saying to each-other, out in the open, on the floor of the capital. these dudes are angrily saying that they need to root out the public servants of justice that were behind this appropriate and important investigation. they're slinging lies because maybe they believe that "it's all lies. all politicians are liars." or maybe they know that they are on the wrong side of this and they're muddying the waters to cover up. and because they are already on the wrong side, they are getting themselves in deeper and are willing to dismantle load-bearing portions of the country to get away with their parts.

to clean your brain of the above, you can enjoy mueller's telling jim jordan "i'm not certain i agree with your characterizations" at 3:13, here:

we are witnessing half of congress participate in an amazingly shitty cover-up and 40% of americans are falling for it.

america may die of its stupidity.

Looks like he wants to target the homeless in America for harassment, and blame them for all our problems.  Can we already line up to piss on his grave?  Maybe sell tickets to it and donate the proceedings to abortion clinics.

yep, pure tribalism without any thought toward the greater good of the country. it doesn't matter if "they" are right or wrong, only matters that you're with "them" and against "us." and remember, americans fell for the greatest con man act in modern history. donnie convinced millions of people he knows how to be a great leader and run a country. he of course has no clue how to be president, but he knows how to do what he's always done - convince gullible people he's right and everyone else is wrong. doesn't matter what it is - you either choose what he's selling you or you're screwed, similar to high pressure sales tactics used by a door-to-door salesman.

at least the house judiciary had an attorney do a prolonged cross-examination, after the members had their time. lewandowski quickly melted as he was easily nailed to the wall for 30 minutes. it starts at 5:04:10

GOP owns the government. trump gives orders and people follow them against the constitution. senate is complicit. no matter how loud the house dems scream and how many hearings they hold it doesn't matter. none of these people around trump are going to go against him. none of them have any integrity or uphold any kind of oath of office.

until the dems actually put people in jail for contempt and up the stakes of the process none of these people will crack under pressure.. why would they? they walk in.. they refuse to answer questions.. they leave. the presidents calls them and says "good job"

it's a joke.

This trump fellow is amazing to watch. The way he talks, stands, moves, his shape, his square head, the hair. Everything about him, just comedic genius. I could watch him babble on for hours. Mesmerising.

Nah, your government and corporations deserve being punished for their human rights violations and ruthless reactionary power politics, Americans on the other hand deserve free health care, a functioning social safety net and free education. Imagine the country's potential if it were structured in a way that works for the people

So, about that whistleblower on Trump, what do you think are the odds Bolton is the whistleblower?

Or it could be the master of puppets, Vlad himself, instructing his minions to slyly drop a little hint to donnie boy to quit fucking around and stop it with these Iranian threats...

he's practically a work of fiction. designed in a writer's mind. his arms are the thing that get me.. the way he just lumbers and hangs like some kind of upright slug with arms and hair.

My spidersense says this is Bolton....

*shoots web*

Overriding the Inspector General is some partisan bullshit.  I have no doubt there are now factions within the Federal Govt actively working to sabotage their own Commander in Chief.  Especially Intel, they live to cover their tracks and act covertly.  I can imagine closed door, off the record meetings in the halls of D.C. planning this man's political demise, if not plans for a worst case scenario if he needs to be "taken care of".   They did it to JFK.

the American people are the government and the corporations tho, of course. we allow it to happen. no passes. we only deserve what we work for, as all things in life imo. if we don't wanna work hard enough to get good health care, raise the quality of education, etc., then we don't deserve it.

The pervasive cult of individuality that has ingrained US culture for at least a century is what is stopping any real progress to be made.  If a big collective push for progressive things is to be made, then you have a fight against gerrymandering and lobbyists and a significant portion of the population so far gone in their brainwashing to be of any use to a movement. Just look at the approval rating of Trump, hovering around 40%, even with the avalanche of BS coming out from the WH. That group has a strong crab mentality. And honestly, the average american is dumb as fuck.
