thinking of selling a few records

Over the next few months I will be selling a few records. It's going to be a pretty chilled affair, the big ones which are in perfect condition I'll be putting on ebay, (can't be bothered with the religiously strict gradings on discogs, plus on ebay I can put up photo's of minor defects so the buyer knows what to expect).

One's that watmm will be interested in and I think will sell (at a good price for fellow watmmers, and open for discussion), I'll post up here first.

Just off the top of my head from the first batch there will be some Ceephax, Flying Lotus, Battles, Four Tet, Deerhunter, Forest Swords, Soul Jazz compilations etc etc. So keep your eyes peeled and your piggy bank close by.

Good evening (my time) Stephen

Volume 1 and 2. The vinyl should be in mint condition (I will double check before selling), where the sleeves over time have just had general wear and tear of being moved and stored there is signs where black print of the sleeve has slightly degraded on the edges. I'd rate the sleeves as volume 1 being 8/10 and volume 2 being 7/10. This is the reason why I chose to sell these records on watmm so I can have a chat before selling them.

Good evening!

I would definitely be interested in both of those! PM me if you have a number in mind, or whenever you get around to it (no rush, you DID say over the next few months).

Ceephax volume 1, 2 and megalift Ep should be off to Canada soon.

I'll post up some more in the next few days, I've got a few nice bits and bobs.

I put this one up on ebay, I've had an offer for £16 but I obviously declined.

@Schlitz the deal is done with Stephen, though nothing has changed hands as of yet, I'm pretty sure it will go ahead. If he gets eaten by a bear then I'll let you know.

Clams Casino - Instrumentals - Blue Transparent  (Discogs median £92)

A Field In England OST (Discogs median £117)

Be putting these up on ebay on the weekend (if I can be bothered to get round to it  ). Both items are mint, Clams Casino has been played once and AFIE has never been played.

  • 1 month later...

I have the EDM C2/D4/E1 https://www.discogs.com/Various-EDM-C2-D4-E1/release/6369687 collection up for sale, probably wack it up on ebay next week

all three are super mint (cassette and cd are still sealed, not sure if the vinyl was sealed, I'd have to double check) and all three were never touched or played....

 religiously strict gradings on discogs

I wish I had access to the Discogs you do, because my experience there is that almost everything is graded WAY too high.  Like, stuff that looks like it was buried on a beach with no sleeve for a month will be sold as unplayed mint condition.  The prices are usually reasonable on there but in my experience the grading is almost arbitrary.

maybe right, last cd I bought from there was the OST to 2001 Space Odyssey and that looked as though it was buried underneath a slag heap and rated as excellent
